Luna Banker, the recently appointed bank manager, was tied securely to a chair in her office. Her heart raced as she stared at Alice, her accuser. Alice was a regular customer at the bank, and Luna had managed her account until recently. The situation had turned sour when Luna was caught embezzling Alice's funds.
"I didn't take your money," Luna insisted, her voice trembling. "You have the wrong person."
Alice narrowed her eyes and approached Luna, a smirk playing on her lips. She pulled out a small device and attached it to Luna's shirt. Luna watched in confusion as Alice activated the machine and began to tickle her sides.
"You're lying, Luna," Alice said, her voice cold. "And I know you are. You've been embezzling from other customers as well. It's time to confess."
Luna gasped for air, her body shaking uncontrollably from the tickling. She tried to wriggle free, but the restraints held her firmly in place. "Please, Alice," she begged. "I'll make it right. I can return the money."
Alice paused the tickling and gave Luna a sardonic look. "Oh, you'll make it right, will you? That's very generous of you." She turned back to the device and resumed tickling Luna's sides.
Luna whimpered, her mind racing. She didn't know how much longer she could take the tickling. She knew the other customers would be watching, and she didn't want to be seen like this. Tears stung her eyes as she tried to remember where she had hidden the money.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Alice stopped the tickling. Luna gasped for air, her body still trembling from the ordeal.
"Where did you hide the money, Luna?" Alice asked, her voice soft but firm.
Luna swallowed hard, her throat dry. She knew she couldn't keep lying. She looked down at her feet, feeling the heat rise in her cheeks. "I... I marked it," she confessed in a small voice. "I put a tickle mark on the bottom of my foot. I couldn't think of anywhere else to hide it."
Alice raised an eyebrow, her expression unreadable. She deactivated the device and walked around to stand in front of Luna. Gently, she lifted Luna's foot and examined it. Her brow furrowed, and then she smiled.
"Well, well, well," she said, her voice amused. "Looks like we have a ticklish banker on our hands."
She looked back at Luna, her eyes glinting with mischief. "I think it's only fair that everyone knows about your little secret, don't you?" She grabbed a marker and wrote 'L' on Luna's foot, right beside the tickle spot.
Luna felt a mixture of humiliation and relief wash over her. She had confessed, and now everyone would know she was ticklish. Maybe they would think twice before trying to embezzle again.
As Alice released her foot, Luna sat up straight in her chair, taking a deep breath. "I'll make sure the money is returned to all the customers you've been affected by," she said, her voice sounding stronger than she felt. "I'll clean up this mess I've created."
Alice nodded, her expression solemn. "I hope you do," she said. "Because if you don't, I might just have to pay you a little visit again."
With that, she turned and left the room, leaving Luna alone to contemplate her fate. As the door shut behind Alice, Luna closed her eyes, still feeling the tickles on her skin. She knew things would never be the same again.
