The old man's life had been turned upside down the moment he crossed paths with Mistress Lohan and her friend. He had been reduced to a pathetic, humiliated creature, serving their every whim and desire. Mistress Lohan and her companion treated him like a doormat, using him for their every need. They would step on him with their sandals, grinding his face into the dirt as they walked over him.
