Remaining lines: As Princess of Volcanoes awoke from a deep slumber, she was startled by the unfamiliar sensation of something sticky beneath her. Gingerly, she opened her eyes to find herself sprawled on the floor, face down in a giant puddle of glue. Her meeting today was of utmost importance and whoever spilled this sticky substance clearly didn't want her to attend. With a groan, she lifted herself off the ground only to realize that her clothes were completely stuck to her skin.
Her first instinct was to panic, but she managed to calm herself down and assess the situation. She couldn't very well go to her meeting like this. She was covered in glue from head to toe, and it seemed impossible to get it off without ruining her outfit. She tried tugging at her clothes gently, but the glue held tight. It was then that she noticed the bottle of glue by the bed, still open and waiting for its next victim.
Princess of Volcanoes' heart sank as she realized that someone had played a cruel prank on her. Who could have possibly done this? Was it someone from her staff who felt threatened by her success? Or perhaps it was a rival trying to sabotage her meeting. She cursed under her breath as she tried unsuccessfully to wipe off the glue with a nearby towel.
With no other option, she decided to call for help. She grabbed her phone and dialed her best friend's number, hoping that they could come up with a plan to get her out of this mess. The phone rang once, twice, before her friend picked up.
"Ember, thank god you answered," Princess of Volcanoes said, trying not to sound too panicked. "I'm in a bit of a sticky situation here. I can't go to my meeting like this."
Ember let out a laugh on the other end of the line. "Oh really? And what exactly are you wearing?"
Princess of Volcanoes sighed. "I'm covered in glue, Ember. It's not funny."
Ember paused. "Oh dear. Well, I'm on my way over. Just stay put and try not to move too much."
Princess of Volcanoes thanked her friend and waited anxiously for her arrival. She couldn't believe this was happening to her. A puddle of glue by the bed, of all things. As she waited, she tried to distract herself by thinking about the meeting. It was a big one, and she had been preparing for it for weeks. She couldn't afford to miss it. Not now.
Finally, she heard a knock on the door. Ember burst through with a smile on her face. "I've got just the thing to get you out of that outfit," she said, holding up a bucket of warm water and a scrub brush.
Princess of Volcanoes couldn't believe her luck. Over the next hour, they worked together to scrape off the glue, exposing her delicate skin to the warm water and scrub brush. It was slow and painstaking work, but eventually, they managed to get most of the glue off her.
"There you go," Ember said, stepping back to admire their handiwork. "You're going to be a little sticky, but at least you're not covered in it anymore."
Princess of Volcanoes stood up and surveyed herself in the mirror. Her clothes were still a bit sticky, but they would have to do. She couldn't show up to her meeting looking like this. She grabbed her purse and phone, thanked Ember once again, and headed out the door.
As she walked to her car, she couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. She had made it through the sticky situation and was ready for whatever her meeting would bring. She was determined not to let anything get in the way of her success at Princess of Volcanoes.
