Noelle looked at the man in front of her, feeling both frustrated and amused. He was a mess, literally and figuratively, with his divorce papers scattered around him. She knew why he was here, and she couldn't help but feel a twinge of excitement at the thought of helping him embark on this new journey.
"Listen, Mark," she began, her voice gentle but firm. "I don't know when you are going to learn that marriage isn't for you. How many divorces will it take? Lucky for you, you found me and now you won't have to worry about making any more dumbass decisions for your life. You were never meant to live a traditional lifestyle. You've always been a freak, and now you are my freak for life; living the non-traditional life you were meant to."
Mark looked up at her, his eyes wide with surprise. "You mean it?" he asked, hopeful yet uncertain.
Noelle smiled reassuringly. "Of course I do, darling. Now, let's get started on this new adventure of yours. You're going to need a makeover."
As she spoke, Noelle began to gather up the scattered divorce papers, her movements fluid and deliberate. She could sense the tension leaving Mark's body as he watched her, his eyes following her every move. She led him to the mirror in her studio, standing behind him as he took in his reflection.
"Not bad for an old freak, huh?" she teased, running her fingers through his hair.
Mark laughed, turning toward her. "Thank you, Mommy Noelle," he said, using the pet name he'd developed for her over the months they'd been seeing each other. He leaned in, their faces mere inches apart. "I don't know what I'd do without you."
Noelle smiled, her heart melting at his words. She wrapped her arms around him, pulling him close. "You won't have to worry about that, my love," she whispered, nuzzling his neck. "Because I'm here for you, always."
From that moment on, Noelle knew their relationship had taken a new turn. Their sessions together became more intimate, both emotionally and physically. Mark had finally found a woman who understood him, who accepted him for who he was - a freak, just like her. And she couldn't be happier to guide him on this journey, to help him discover the person he was truly meant to be.
