Rubi leaned against the wall, her long legs stretched out before her. She didn't pay much attention to the man who was rubbing lotion into her feet, lost as she was in her phone. The tapping of her fingers against the glass screen accompanied the soft, soothing motions of his hands on her skin.
Her white dress clung to her slender frame, highlighting every curve and contour. She wore it effortlessly, as if she knew she could pull off anything she put on. And she did, quite literally at times.
As he continued massaging her feet, his hands lingering on each arch and tender spot, she let out a contented sigh. The neglectful way she was behaving didn't faze her; she was used to it by now. Many men had come and gone in her life, but none had managed to hold her attention for long. She was like a butterfly, flitting from one person to another, never staying still for too long.
Her phone buzzed with another notification, breaking the peaceful silence that had settled between them. With a tired groan, she lifted her head and glanced at the screen before giving him a half-hearted apology. "Sorry, just a sec," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.
Her fingers danced across the keyboard as she typed out a reply to the message, oblivious to the fact that her legs were spread slightly, offering an enticing view of her smooth thighs. She didn't notice the way his eyes lingered on her skin, tracing the contours of her legs with his gaze.
After a few moments, she put her phone down and let out a contented sigh. "All done," she announced, tilting her chin up at him. "Thank you, that was amazing."
He grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "You're welcome, Rubi. Anytime you want me to rub your pretty little feet, just say the word."
She rolled her eyes, even as a blush stole across her cheeks. "I'll keep that in mind," she replied, standing up and stretching her arms over her head.
As she stepped out of the makeshift massage area, her heels clacking against the floor, she couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. Maybe this man wasn't the one she was looking for, but for now, he would do just fine.
