Teacher Karly Salinas glanced down at her watch, feeling impatient for the day to end. She had been supervising a group of students taking a test, but her attention kept drifting off due to an uncomfortable itch between her toes. She couldn't wait to get out of these tight, sweaty shoes and give her poor feet a break.
Suddenly, she felt a pang of guilt. The tiny student sitting in front of her was struggling to focus on the test, his brows knit together in concentration. Karly sighed, realizing she needed to keep her mind on her duties for a little longer.
She forced herself to maintain eye contact with the student, trying not to think about the stench emanating from her shoes. The soles were caked with sweat and dirt, and her feet were so hot and itchy that she could barely stand it. But she was a professional, and she couldn't let her discomfort affect her teaching.
As the minutes ticked by, the itch grew more and more persistent. Finally, she couldn't stand it anymore. She leaned down towards the tiny student, hoping he wouldn't notice the stink wafting off her feet. "Excuse me," she murmured, trying not to sound too desperate. "Would you mind scratching my itch?"
The student looked up at her, surprised but willing. He nodded, and she gently placed one of her huge, smelly feet in his lap. His tiny hands shook as he reached out to touch her skin, but he managed to find the right spot. He dug his tiny fingers into her foot, scrubbing at the itch until it finally subsided.
Karly let out a sigh of relief, the tension draining from her body. She couldn't believe how good that felt. "Thank you," she whispered, leaning forward to rest her weight on her hands. "That was amazing."
The student smiled shyly, his cheeks red from the effort. "You're welcome, Teacher Karly." He hesitated, then asked, "Do you need more help with your itch?"
Karly chuckled softly. "No, I think I'm good for now. Thank you so much." She stood up straight again, feeling a renewed sense of purpose. "Alright, class, that's enough for today. You're all dismissed."
As the students filed out of the room, Karly couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness that the moment had passed. She watched them go, her mind wandering back to the tiny student who had so bravely scratched her itch. Maybe there was something more she could do for him, she thought, a mischievous glint in her eye.
With a mischievous grin, she turned and walked back towards her classroom, her stinky shoes dragging behind her. Little did she know, her tiny student had a surprise in store for her. As she disappeared down the hall, he smirked to himself, already plotting his next move.
